Heart attacks can come even when there is no chest pain. Here are some symptoms that the body gives. Do not hesitate to call your doctor. Some of these symptoms can worsen over time and eventually lead to a heart attack.
1. Uncomfortable Pressure
One of the earliest symptoms of a heart attack is uncomfortable pressure forming in the chest region. The pressure feels more like squeezing or fullness and can come in waves.
2. Upper Body Pain
Pain can occur in different parts of the body including the jaw, neck, shoulders, arms, and back.
3. Dizziness
Heart attacks can be followed by periods of dizziness. Because the blood flow to the heart and brain suffers, it can cause light-headedness and in some cases losing consciousness.
4. Fatigue
Feeling tired at the end of a stressful day is one thing. But if you are feeling tired for more than a month, even when you haven’t exerted yourselves, you should consult a doctor.
5. Sweating
Breaking into a cold sweat or sweating excessively can be a signal. However, if you are going through menopause or have been working out, you shouldn’t worry about it.
6. Nausea
Some women experience nausea, which is constant and is not food-related. In this case, you should consult a doctor.
7. Shortness of Breath
If you regularly feel shortness of breath, with or without exercise, you should see a doctor. Some women experience acute shortness of breath so much so that they wake up from their sleep. This requires a visit to the doctor.
